Sun, at last
So I hung out at my folks house for the weekend. Joseph and I slept out on the trampoline in the backyard. It's tradition. Here's the pic I snapped when I woke up!!!I know, I should be more thankful when the sun does come out. But that has been very rare for this year...sign. Oh well. I guess overcast and cloudy is better than Des Moines 126 high. Crazy.

A little less action. Alot more talk.
I'm merely saying this because sometimes I feel that my blog becomes more of an online photo journal, rather than just an online journal.
I had/have flickr for that purpose, you know, so I can just upload the pics. But I'm still debating if I'm going to continue with that. They charge you after 200 uploads, and if you don't want to pay, than you can only see your 200 most recent uploads.
So, I hope no body mind's seeing lots of pics. But yes, I am acknowledging the fact that I should write more too.
Love ya all!
What say you?
I am not sure what to think about this hat. I really like it when I see it on other people. But I am not sure what to think about it on me. What do you think?

Cleaning House and Playing at the Park
So, I've been helping Aunt Sandi clean her house.
One of the perks is going to Typhoon! MMM
Our Wednesday class went to the park. Here's CJ;-)
And Emily and Hailey.
They enjoyed the swings.

Great Steals and Good Deals
I've totally been wanting a clock like this forever. Any memorabilia from Salvador Dali's "Persistance of Memory" I saw it for only $17.00 at Ross.
Got these earrings for a steal. Only $1.50!

I heart Target
Found these at .... yes, Target. $9.99! Woo hoo. They were regularly $19.99, which seems outrageous for flip flops.

Weight Loss
So I thought I'd do a little before and after shot. Although, this is not really after, it's more like "at present" So It's been 1.5 months and I've lost 22.5 lbs. Yay! I hope I can keep that up for the next 1.5 months. ;-)
A day of mourning.
Okay, I'm not really in mourning. It's just that my bed head flat iron finally kicked the bucket. It did last me a good 4+ years, which seems pretty good. Too bad I don't have enough $$ for another, or a Chi. Oh well. So here's the new one. We shall see how it works;-)
Bridal Shower!!!
These were a great idea. But they so did not work. The sherbet didn't stay hard... I'll have to work on that.
Somehow I managed to get umbrellas that were twice the size of normal drink ones. Totally thought they only had one size. Haha.7.13.2011
Check it out.
I thought this was a rad dress. And this is cute.
This is such an adorable party!
That's all for now. Lately I'm working on alot of stuff for my sister's Bridal shower. Which is great fun. It'll be happening on Saturday...pics to follow.

Sigh
So, I've been feeling a little down lately, as moat of you most of you might know. It's hard losing a job. And right now we have lost more money going out than coming. We are in need of some financial blessing to reign down, as I'm sure some of you do.
Also, I've been on a diet. I've lost 15 lbs so far and it's been three weeks. However, I've been on this plateau for about five days now. I just keep going up, down, up, down. Super annoying. I've heard that stress is not good fir weight loss... Blah.
I hope something happens quick or I might go insane.

Tissue Paper Flowers
So these flowers are much like the larger pom poms I made. First start with approximately 6 2" squares of tissue paper.
Then take all the pieces, line them up and fold them accordian style.
After that, cut the ends of the paper into a point.
Then take a piece of wire however long you'd like the stem and twist it around the middle of the paper. You can also use pipe cleaners, if you prefer;-)
Next comes the fun part. All you need to do us fluff up the layers of tissue paper.
